Welcome to Nootka Tree Care – where passion meets expertise! Proudly serving Calgary, Cochrane, and Canmore, we're your Local Tree Service Experts founded by Stuart Witt, an ISA Certified Arborist® with over 20 years of global experience.

Stuart's journey in arboriculture began under his father's guidance, instilling a deep love for tree care. Alongside his wife Natalie, our office manager, they lead Nootka Tree Care's family legacy.

Stuart's accolades include a first-place win at the 2023 &2024 ISA Prairie Chapter tree climbing competitions, demonstrating our commitment to excellence. He won many competitions and qualified for the world championships in 2005 & 2007 and he placed 7th overall. He also travelled to Hong Kong for tree-climbing demonstrations which was a great honour. 

Rest assured, we specialize in safe tree climbing techniques, employing modern Arboricultural  climbing techniques, ropes, and harnesses with expert precision.  

We are fully insured, and in good standing with the Workers Compensation Board of Alberta, with a $5 million liability insurance, we prioritize safety and excellence
